Current Endowments
Since its inception in 1975, the Schola Foundation has provided scholarships to the students of Loyola Catholic School. Above and beyond Loyola Catholic School’s need for yearly operating support and scholarships for students is the need to plan for the school’s long-term financial vitality. The Schola Foundation’s Endowment Program is the school’s investment account. It is made of gifts from generous donors and the investment earnings. Donor contributions are carefully invested and managed according to policies set by the Schola Foundation Board. Major gifts can be either made directly to Loyola Catholic School or to one of the Schola Foundation’s Endowed Funds.
In addition, over the past several decades, Schola has been the lead in several capital campaigns to raise needed funds for Loyola to expand its physical plant and improve its technology. While the Schola foundation is independent from Loyola, it works closely with the School to maximize dollars to support Loyola’s short term and long term needs.
